Music creative, performing and preaching questions are
still the most acute and actual problems of our music
life. In order to clarify and improve the situation in
this field, Composers' Union of Azerbaijan and
Writers' Union held joint consultation on preparing
work plan. Composers, writers, musicians and critics
assembled at Natavan Club of Writers' Union,
mentioning very different aspects of song genre in
their speech, talked about salient shortcomings of
this genre, which is one of the beloved and wide
spread genres of art at present. The chairman of the
Writers' Union of Azerbaijan Anar, the first secretary
of Composers' Union Vasif Adigozelov, composers Ramiz
Mustafaev, Ramiz Mirishli, Javanshir Guliev, Sardar
Farajov, Nariman Azim Ganjali, musicians Imruz
Afandieva, Ramiz Zohrabov, poets Fikrat Goja, Gabil,
Nusret Kasamanli, Fikrat sadig, Kalantar Ramig Mukhtar
and Azad Aliev had a speech at this conference. Taking
into consideration the necessity of discussed
questions, "Music World" magazine presents some
