Though black Hundreder was against of gopuz-saz
tradition, pursued and put pressure upon this ancient
thought system from different directions, which have
deep roots, Turkish life style has guarded its
historical existence at Caucasus, Iran and Anadolu.
Thus, as gopuz and saz were approached as holy and
mysterious instruments that associated with spiritual
world, this musical instrument was in the top of the
homes in whole Islam period. Azerbaijani ashugs still
hang up the saz in the top of the their homes.
