Ashraf Abbasov was a director of Music Secondary
School named after A.Zeynalli in 1947-48s, dedicated
his following life to State Conservatory of Azerbaijan
named after U.Hajibayov, was promoted from teacher
occupation till professor, worked as a rector of the
Conservatory (1953-57), the chairman of Composer Chair
(1957-72) in different years. He also was a member of
Administrative Staff since 1st Congress of Composers'
Union of Azerbaijan till the end of his life.
