Teaching the tar playing with note and mugam in the
same level from the year 1920, established a new
fertility on opportunities of this instrument. Thus,
either mugam or note playing of the tar have been
formed and developed. We should mention one aspect
that as mugam was orally, its teaching didnt create a
problem. But as a note performing was the first step
in the tar, the composer works and various musical
study books of the foreign countries were required as
the subject means in the teaching process. Considering
this in May 9, 1925 Uzeyir Hajibayov prepared note and
mugam program for the tar profession based on the
demands of the time.
