THE MAIN PERIODS OF DEVELOPMENT OF ANCIENT IRANS SYMBOLS

       Graphic symbols of ancient Iran has several major stages of development allocated historical periods and the emergence of states.

        The earliest stage covers the Eneolithic (end of V - beginning of III millennium BC) and characterized as protoelam culture.

        The Bronze Age is represented by products from Luristan, Tepe-Hissar, Tepe Giyan IV layer, Talysh.

        Iran dates back to the Iron Age approx. 1300 - 550 BC, the period 1000-550 BC account for the emergence and functioning of the Manna and Media.

        Monuments of this period are found in the cemeteries of Tepe-Sialk, Tepe-Gyan, Hasanlu, Marlik and Kalurazah in the Caspian region, Luristan and others.

        The next stage in the development of symbols called the Achaemenid Iran and is associated with the emergence of the state of the Achaemenid (550-330 BC).

        This period is the first period of the actual Iranian art.
